Owner’s Engineer Support
Most owners & developers do not find it cost effective to carry a robust full-time staff of engineering / management resources. With an average of over 36 years of project execution experience, our expert staff of multi-discipline engineers serves as an extension of your technical team when the need arises, such as large capital development projects.
With a spirit of teamwork and collaboration, Fides Consulting can develop and manage your owner’s scope of work and monitor the delivery of a quality engineering product from your EPC firm. We operate as one-team, in a seamless partnership with you, to successfully execute your project vision. Let us fill your resource gap with our team of technical experts.
How We Empower Project Success
Front End Scoping Support
It takes a great deal of know-how to transform your project concept into a defined scope of work. At this early stage, there are more questions than answers. With Fides, our multidiscipline team collaborates with you and the EPC firm to develop the scope of work to maximize the use of investment capital. Our work will deliver a plan to reduce ambiguity and control project cost associated with ill-defined scopes or unmitigated project risks.
Monitoring of the EPC
We have built our careers in the world of multi-discipline engineering consulting and project execution. Fides wants to bring this experience to your project to ensure that you’re getting the results you expect from your EPC. We are your eyes and ears looking out for your interests throughout the entirety of the engineering design, orchestrating a seamless integration and optimization across the broader project landscape. We provide general and discipline specific monitoring of the EPC for your project and we participate in engineering design evaluations, model reviews, project status meetings, etc.
Management of Owner’s Scope of Work
Certain scopes of work are better suited to be executed external to the EPC firm. Fides and CSRS can assist in these areas with site selection, surveying, sitework design & engineering, environmental and site permitting, import/export facilities planning and infrastructure, power supply, pipeline interconnects, buildings, and utilities coordination.
